THE GARDA
Much more than Made in Italy. Made in Garda.
Our vineyards are found in the areas bordering Lake Garda. These territories, known as Lugana and Valtènesi, have become famous throughout the world thanks to their great wines.

Clay and mineral rich fields: the stratified terrain recounts the history of the ancient glaciations
that melted to form the lake and the Lugana flatland.
Garda is the undisputed protagonist of this area and characterizes the wine production of the zone. It influences the environment and mellows the temperature, creating a favourable climate for natural vegetation and the vineyards.
Il Lugana del Cavaliere del Garda was named with the Latin term Lacus in honour of Lake Garda and the ancient glacier that formed it.
In fact, it is the clay and mineral rich soil that gives the wine its characteristic and unmistakable flavour. Giving rise to a full, flavourful and fragrant wine.
An ideal pairing with fish and white meat dishes and
medium-aged cheeses.
The Valtènesi is an area of moraine hills that extends along the western shore of Lake Garda. It benefits from all the lake effects that have formed the territory over the centuries, making it unique and unparalleled.
Light breezes and no excessive rains: thanks to its particular microclimate, the Valtènesi territory is characterized by mild winters and hot summers. These conditions favour vigorous and varied vegetation throughout the year.
Il Valtènesi Chiaretto del Cavaliere del Garda was named with the Latin term Aura in honour of the
breeze that characterises the territory and influences the climate and vineyards.
It is obtained through the vinification of four
red Garda grapes: Groppello, Marzemino,
Sangiovese and Barbera. This Valtènesi Chiaretto wine, intense, fine and with good structure and complexity, is ideal with fish and white meat dishes.
